When Marshfield Clinic’s legacy system conversion to Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management (FSM) began to lose momentum, the CIO turned to ProjectWise Consulting for leadership and course correction. Mary Thao joined as Program Manager, representing Marshfield as the client.

Mary re-established governance frameworks, stabilized timelines, and brought cross-functional accountability across finance, supply chain, and IT. A key focus was managing the RICE components—Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, and Extensions—which required extensive coordination between business users, developers, and Infor consultants. Another key focus was managing Infor as the delivery service team, ensuring their deliverables were aligned with client expectations and that the timelines were upheld through active oversight and communication.

This included leading a structured process for:

• Requirements gathering for each RICE object with business owners
• Detailed design documentation and stakeholder validation
• Development oversight to ensure alignment with system capabilities and compliance
• Unit testing and client-led testing cycles with defect tracking and resolution
• Final user acceptance testing (UAT) and executive sign-off

Mary also oversaw data scrubbing and crosswalk development, ensuring legacy data was cleansed and accurately mapped to Infor’s architecture. This meticulous work laid a reliable foundation for reporting, reconciliation, and adoption post go-live.

Memorial Health – Strategic Migration Leadership
Project Type: Infor CloudSuite FSM, Supply Chain, HRT & Payroll Migration

At Memorial Health, ProjectWise Consulting led a comprehensive migration to Infor CloudSuite, encompassing Financials, Supply Chain, Human Resources Talent (HRT), and Payroll. As Project Manager for Infor Delivery Services, Mary Thao guided the engagement from initiation through transition.

In addition to managing project scope, schedule, and budget, Mary provided strategic oversight of all RICE components—ensuring that reports, interfaces, custom configurations, and system extensions were scoped correctly and developed efficiently.

Her process included:

• Collaborative requirements sessions with stakeholders across finance, supply chain, HR, and IT
• Clear documentation and traceability from requirement to delivery
• Rigorous development and unit testing oversight
• Coordination of multiple rounds of client testing with issue tracking and escalation
• Managing the final UAT phase and ensuring all deliverables received formal sign-off from the business

Memorial ultimately decided to pause the project at the final stage of the Transition Phase. However, ProjectWise Consulting worked closely with the client throughout the engagement to ensure they reached a point of readiness that aligned with their goals.
